I bought this yarn last week, to make dishcloths and maybe washcloths.

More projects finished: Scarf and another washcloth. :)

I finished the scarf I was working on. I knitted it with Lion Brand Homespun Yarn, in Mixed Berry on size 19 needles. It was a lot of fun to make and super quick! Here is a picture of it, modeled by yours truly! ;)

And here is a picture of the washcloth I made:

Washcloth

I finished the washcloth I was knitting, this morning. I started it yesterday, so it didn't take too long. I made it for my SIL (Thao's sister). Her birthday is tomorrow. It's part of a spa kit I put together for her. :) I've been knitting for several months now and this is only the second project I have completed (the first was a scarf for myself). Can't wait to give this to Van!

I can crochet!

My mom taught me how to do the single crochet stitch and I was able to put a border around the baby washcloths I made. Yay!! :D

Soon, I need to go to Joann's to buy another skein of the pink and purple baby yarn I bought so I can get started on a baby blanket using the round loom.

I spent $30 of my $50 April allowance today at Michael's (I was out shopping with my mom)! :/ It's so easy to spend a bunch of money at craft stores. I'm gonna return some stuff sometime this week.

Baby washcloths knitted with a small round loom

I made these two washcloths today. They each took an hour or less to make. I am very pleased. :)

I'm definitely going to make some for our family, as well.

Ack!

Okay, I am having trouble with the single crochet stitch. I might have to take a class to learn this. As of right now, knitting (with a needle) seems a lot easier than crocheting.
